Job Summary — The Opportunity

Our Outside Sales team is how customers first experience JM Test Systems, and how we grow. We're looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead that team, sharpen our strategy, and take our presence in the market to the next level.

In this role, you will lead, coach, and develop Sales Service Representatives across multiple regions. You'll work closely with executive leadership to shape sales strategy, design territories, set targets, and build relationships with our key customers, all while living out our core values of Quality, Responsiveness, Integrity, and Family.

You'll succeed here if you're a proven sales leader who loves developing people, thinks strategically but acts decisively, and knows how to turn plans into measurable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities & Outcomes

·        Set the direction. Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including territory design, account assignments, and growth initiatives aligned with company goals.

·        Drive results. Set clear targets and performance standards, and track sales through forecasting, reporting, and KPIs so the team consistently hits its numbers.

·        Build a high-performing team. Recruit, onboard, train, and coach sales team members, conduct performance reviews, and partner with HR on development and improvement plans.

·        Create a culture of accountability. Foster a team environment built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

·        Grow key relationships. Maintain and expand relationships with key customers and strategic accounts, and represent JM Test Systems at customer meetings and industry events.

·        Spot new opportunities. Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends to guide where and how we grow.

·        Manage the business side. Use sales and financial data to guide decisions, approve expenses and account strategies, and ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.

·        Partner across the company. Work with operations, customer service, and leadership to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You Bring

·        Required: 10+ years of sales experience, with a strong background in leadership or team management.

·        Required: Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams.

·        Required: Strong understanding of customer relationship management and market dynamics, with the ability to translate strategy into execution.

·        Required: Financial acumen, including experience with forecasting and performance analysis.

·        Required: Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·        Required: Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
